Bluemark announces new corporate partnership with the Ohio Hospital Association.

May 5, 2017 | News

In April of 2017, Bluemark, a leading provider of revenue cycle technology solutions for hospitals and health systems entered into a corporate partnership with the Ohio Hospital Association (OHA). OHA is the nation’s first state-level hospital association and exists to collaborate with its member hospitals and health systems to ensure a healthy Ohio. The key to this new relationship is Bluemark’s MAPS Self-Pay management solution. MAPS equips providers to quickly and accurately assess the uninsured or underinsured and qualify them for any enrollment pathway: Medicaid, Financial Assistance, health insurance through the exchange, and other public programs.

“Bluemark has been providing eligibility and enrollment technology solutions for the hospital, health system and the long-term care markets for the past 16 years,” said Ken Sacks, Partner and Chief Executive Officer for Bluemark, “we look forward to working with the Ohio Hospital Association to help us expand our reach to the Ohio market”. MAPS identifies appropriate program coverage in the most efficient and accurate manner possible. This not only maximizes potential reimbursement revenue but also reduces overall cycle-time from initial screen to ultimate program enrollment. MAPS also has the capability to interface directly with the Ohio.gov website which further streamlines the process of Medicaid enrollment and tracking.

Bluemark and OHA will be working closely together over the next several months to introduce the MAPS solutions to their member hospitals and health systems. For more information please contact:
